Pottery Wheel: Group Introduction Class

    Suitable for ages 14+

    Join us for a 1.5-hour introduction to making ceramic forms using the potter’s wheel! Guided by an experienced tutor, you'll learn how to create small bowls, jugs, and cylinders. Expect to make up to three pieces!

    This is a group activity with a maximum of five participants in a class.

    All pieces will be cleaned, fired, and ready for collection 3-4 weeks after the session. You can choose our clear glaze at no extra cost, or a coloured glaze for an additional £10. The price includes all materials and firing costs.

Craft & Sip: Hand-Build Your Own Mug or Cup (18+, BYOB)

  • Suitable for ages 18+

    Our most popular session! You’ll learn to hand-build your very own coffee cup or tea mug using the traditional pinching technique. In this 1.5 introduction class, you'll shape and mold your cup to suit your style before adding a handle and some decorative detail.

    No previous pottery experience is required—our experienced instructor will guide you through the process, step by step. Your piece will be glazed in a clear finish (glaze included in the price), with the option to add a specialist glaze for an additional £7 to personalise your design. Pieces Ready in 3-4 weeks.

    Love is in the summer breeze! Dive into a special, extended edition of our beloved introductory class, perfect for beginners.

    Experience our pottery wheel introduction class transformed into the perfect weekend date night activity! Picture dimmed lights, flickering candles, and a curated playlist setting the romantic mood. Just bring along your favourite beverage (it’s BYOB!) and a loved one for a memorable evening.

    During this two-hour introductory class led by tutor Yasmine, you'll delve into the basics of crafting ceramic forms on the potter’s wheel. After a comprehensive demonstration, you'll have an hour to create your own masterpieces, with ample one-on-one assistance and guidance available. Cap off the session by joining your partner on the same wheel, channeling the iconic scene from "Ghost" as you craft your final piece together.

    Leave the session with 2-3 individual pieces per person, plus a collaborative piece with your loved one. Your creations will be cleaned, fired in our kilns, and ready for collection within 3-4 weeks. Included in the fee is a clear gloss coating, or you can opt for one of our specialty glazes on the day for an additional £10 per person.

    Join our Family Clay Club for a delightful bonding experience! Parents and their little ones can share the thrill of crafting pots on the pottery wheel together.

    No prior experience is necessary, just bring your enthusiasm to create something special and Learn a new skill!

    Adult participation is optional. You can either roll up your sleeves and join in the fun with your kids, or drop them off with us and let us take care of the creativity!

    During this 1.5-hour session, our expert instructors will guide you through the step-by-step process of creating 3-4 small pots each on the potter's wheel.

    By the end of the class, not only will you have crafted handmade treasures, but you'll also have shared the joy of learning and creating together. Your masterpieces will be ready for collection 3-4 weeks after the session. Choose to finish your pieces with a clear glaze (included) or opt for a special colour upgrade for an additional £10 per person.

    Our most popular session! This BYOB session is a fun introduction to making ceramic forms using hand-building techniques! Guided by a tutor, you will learn to slab build a mug, jug or pot and bring your hearts desires into ceramic life! Expect to make 1 mug, jug or pot.

    - Pieces will be ready for collection 2-3 weeks after class.

    All pieces made are cleaned up by our tutors, fired and then ready for collection 3 weeks afterwards. Choose from our clear glaze (free) or a coloured glaze (£7) to coat your creations. Materials and firing cost included in the price.

Hand Building: BYOB Date Night / Group Introduction Class

    Join us on the last Friday of each month for an enchanting candlelit evening dedicated to the art of hand building. Whether you're a couple seeking a romantic experience or friends looking for a creative adventure, this experience promises to be unforgettable.

    Picture flickering candles and a curated playlist setting the romantic mood. Just bring along your favorite beverage (it’s BYOB!) and a cherished companion to share in the magic. Led by the talented tutor Daisy, this two-hour introductory class invites you to collaborate on a masterpiece or craft individual pieces as tokens of your bond. Discover the intricate techniques of coil and pinch pottery with a generous amount of clay provided. Each couple has the opportunity to create two unique items within the clay limit. Once your creations have been fired, you'll have the option to finish them with a clear glaze (included) or opt for a splash of colour from our selection of premium glazes for an additional £10 per person.

    Your finished pieces will be available for collection within 3-4 weeks after the class, serving as lasting mementos of the memories created on the evening!

    No prior experience? No problem! Our expert instructor will guide you through the process, helping you create stunning, personalised patterns, textures, or Valentine’s-themed designs to make your mug truly one-of-a-kind. Bring your favorite beverage to sip while you scratch and enjoy a relaxed evening!

    • A pre-made ceramic mug ready for sgraffito decoration.
