If you’ve taken an introductory pottery class—whether with us or elsewhere—and are eager to refine your skills, this class is the perfect next step. Designed for those looking to build upon basic throwing techniques, this session will help you create larger, more polished pieces. You can focus on perfecting simple forms like cylinders or experiment with pushing the clay’s limits under the guidance of an experienced tutor.

In this two-hour session, limited to just six participants, you’ll receive a hands-on demonstration and be introduced to new throwing techniques. Use this time to explore, ask questions, practice, make mistakes, and develop your craftsmanship in a supportive environment.

At the end of the session, select your three best pieces to go through the firing process. A clear glaze coating is included, or you can choose a specialist colour for an additional £10 per three pieces, payable on the day.

• Limited Availability: This experience is offered at limited times and scheduling is not guaranteed on a regular basis.

• Once completed, your creations will be fired and ready for collection in 3–4 weeks.

• Stoneware clay is the material used which is long lasting, hard wearing and when glazed, food safe.
