Pottery Wheel: Make an Ikebana Flower Arranging Bowl with Nadia. (Beginners)

£70pp

(14+)

Ikebana bowls are traditional vessels to display the art of Ikebana, a Japanese form of flower arrangement. In this limited edition workshop, learn how to throw a large bowl form and flower stone to match on the potter’s wheel with our resident tutor and studio manager, Nadia.

This class is 2 hours long and within this time you will be taken through the steps of throwing 1-2 small dipping bowls, a large bowl and a stone.

This is a group lesson so there may be other attendees you do not know. Pieces will be ready 2-3 weeks after creation and will be finished up in either our clear glaze (free) or one of our specialist glazes (additional fee).
