Pottery Wheel - Make Black Clay Vessels with Nadia (Beginners)

£70pp

(14+)

In this 2hr long workshop which is suitable for beginners, our resident tutor Nadia will introduce you to the processes of throwing and decorating small vessels such as a dish, bud vase or tea bowl. Expect to make between 3-6 pieces.

In your session you will be using a black stoneware clay. This clay produces beautiful surface quality and texture. The manganese content of this clay makes it unsuitable for tableware, so the items you make will be decorative and ornamental.

Included in the price of the session will be a selection of specialist glaze options to coat your final pieces. Pieces will be ready for collection 2-3 weeks after your workshop.
