Course Description:

Join us for a a two week practice block designed for those who have completed any level pottery wheel course. This short course provides participants with an opportunity to practice and reinforce the skills learned in the foundational sessions, with guidance available throughout.

Participants have the opportunity to work on a self-initiated project within the restraints of up to 2kg of clay per person. Our tutor will be situated at the wheel & around the studio throughout and will be available for 1-1 assistance and tutorials in addition to troubleshooting questions.

We recommend using the first session to practice your throwing and the second session to practice trimming. Should you wish to spend the two days working on your throwing technique entirely, this is fine however you need to consider the wares that you keep will not be trimmed.

• All materials, including clay and tools.

• Expert guidance from experienced tutors.

Not Included:

• Firing and glazing of any wares. Should you wish to have your pottery glazed and fired, it is an additional fee of £10 per 3 pieces.
